To ensure the best results, please follow these tips before your appointment:

• Brush & floss well before your appointment. A clean surface helps the gem bond better to the tooth.
  
  

• Avoid whitening products at least 24–48 hours before your appointment, including whitening toothpaste and strips.
  
  

• Eat beforehand, as you’ll want to avoid food or drink for a short time after the procedure.
  
  

• Let us know if you have dental work, such as crowns, veneers, or braces. Tooth gems bond best to natural teeth.
  
  

• Don’t worry—there’s no drilling or pain involved! This is a cosmetic, temporary enhancement applied with dental adhesive.
  
  

Taking care of your gem is simple! Follow these steps to help it last longer and keep your smile healthy:

• Avoid eating or drinking (especially hot or sticky foods) for at least 1 hour after application.
  
  

• Do not touch or play with the gem for the first 24 hours to allow proper bonding.
  
  

• Brush gently around the gem. Use a soft-bristled toothbrush and avoid aggressive brushing directly on the gem.
  
  

• Avoid using whitening products, as they may weaken the bond.
  
  

• Skip chewing gum, crunchy, or sticky foods for 24–48 hours to prevent early detachment.
  
  

• Schedule regular dental cleanings as usual — just let your hygienist know about the gem.
